Search for scholarly literature from around the web, including articles and books.  Items may not be available in full-text, ask library staff about acquiring these items.  Sources found using Google Scholar should be evaluated for credibility before use.  Avoid theses and dissertations.

Films on Demand

Films On Demand provides online, streaming access to thousands of documentaries, educational films and news reels to MCC students, faculty and staff. Content from Films On Demand can be shown in a classroom setting, accessed via link or embedded in Schoology, or used for research. To access, go the A to Z Database Listing page and select the link Films On Demand

A new journal for MCC's artists and writers

Ovis, a journal of art and literature, is a new project from Mohave Community College Libraries to highlight the creativity of the MCC community. Writers, poets, photographers, painters, and artists of all media are encouraged to visit Ovis to find submission guidelines, forms, and more information.

   Fall 2017 Virtual Research Workshops

Join us for our second virtual research workshop session How to Read a Research Article,  Oct. 18 at 2:00 P.M.

What is it? A real-time, interactive, online work session with a librarian that focuses on helping you research and write better papers. How Does it work? The librarian will discuss the session topic for the first hour. For the second hour, you will work on a research assignment of your choice while having access to the librarian if you need help. How do I login? Go to and enter the Meeting ID number 698-801-6421 at the time of the session. You will need speakers or headphones. A microphone and webcam are optional.
